In a Lily Bit is a new local flower shop that has recently opened up here in Labrador West. The business didn’t have much branding at all and needed a new logo that they could proudly display across a variety of different media. The base of the design is a painter's pallet. A painter uses a pallet to create beauty in their paintings. A florist uses a pallet of flowers to create a beautiful design. I chose roses because they are a popular flower that comes in a variety of colours. The colours of each rose hold their own meaning. A yellow rose represents friendship. A blue rose symbolizes mystery and attaining the impossible. A purple rose is used to show someone that you look up to someone and value them. Finally the pink rose means sweetness. Altogether, the logo represents how sentimental flowers can be to anyone who is on the receiving end.
